Gareth Kear
Group Operations Director
As someone who aspires to the belief ‘you can only control the controllable things’, I am often asked why I always answer a question with a question, my normal reply is ‘Why not!’
And ‘why not’ is what I said when presented with the opportunity to join ENTO as Group Sales Manager in June 2000. I was promoted to Group Operations Director in February 2010 and have responsibility for all day to day commercial operations for ENTO and ENTO Direct.
My previous career has seen me hold a number of key Sales and Marketing positions, typically delivering successful telemarketing campaigns for blue chip organisations such as the BBC, BMW and The Welsh assembly Government. Immediately before joining ENTO I was working for a  new company providing innovative credit information via the internet. With responsibility for offices in UK, France and Sweden I was part of a growth period which saw the customer base grow from 500 to over 35,000 organizations including Harrods, IKEA and Apple Computers and achieve Market Leader status.
I enjoy building successful teams in business and sport and have a great love of Rugby of both codes. I was fortunate to play at a high level and have since progressed to coaching at International and Regional level. In my spare time I now enjoy running and watching my two sons play rugby. |
